Payment and Refund Policy:


1. Method of payment: credit card or bank transfer

Credit card payment can be made using VISA or MasterCard credit/debit card. Instructions for bank transfer payment will be sent by individual e-mails

2. In the case of credit/debit card online payment, the details on the customer’s ID (card holder ID) should exactly match that of the credit/debit card used to make the purchase.

3. Currency accepted: US Dollar

4. Latest online payment date: 20th October 2017.

6. In case a credit card has been used for the payment, the refund will be credited back to the payee and to the original credit card used for the payment transaction. The amount credited will be after deduction of any applicable penalties and administration charges.


7. In case of payment by bank transfer, the refund will be made by bank transfer to the payee’s bank. The amount transferred will be after deduction of any applicable penalties, administration, or transaction charges.


8. Refunds will be made within 30 working days of a refund request meeting all terms and conditions of the refund policy.

9. Governing Law: This website will be governed by the law of the United Arab Emirates.

Note: Please note that the Website Policies and Terms & Conditions may be changed or updated occasionally to meet the requirements and standards. Under such circumstances, the customers, as well as the Payment Gateway Provider, will be notified about such changes.


Procedure for Requesting a Refund

11. Upon receipt of a cancellation request, the Registration Chair will check if the cancellation and refund conditions above are met.

12. If the refund conditions are met, the Registration Chair will notify the Masdar Institute’s Finance Department that a refund is due by filling out an internal Request for Refund Form (available on the Finance Department’s Intranet site) and forward the completed form to the designated email or physical address as stated on said form.

13. The Masdar Institute’s Finance Department will then action the refund in accordance with the published timeframes.
