Research Priority: Information and Communication Technologies

The ATIC-SRC Center of Excellence for Energy Efficient Electronic Systems (ACE4S) was established to support the development of energy-efficient wireless sensors and advances in the areas of sensor technologies, power management, energy harvesting, and wireless communications circuits.

ACE4S also seeks to produce integrated prototypes for mobile healthcare applications as well as knowledge and research relevant to MEMS and photonic sensors, body-communication channels, transceivers circuits, energy-efficient storage, and secure sensing.

The center was set up in late 2016 by KUSTAR and MI, through a partnership between the Advanced Technology Investment Company (ATIC) and the Semiconductor Research Corporation (SRC).
